This cotton kimono is actually called a nemaki (note the narrower sleeves) and is meant more for at-home use. They are also offered as robes at spas and hotels and are lined with a light gauzy cotton.
This nemaki features a printed pattern of alternating vertical bands – one is a simple three-stripe band, and the other is a length of interlocking squares that resemble length of chain links.
This nemaki has a tuck at the waist, which if undone can add 6 inches to the total length.
Nemaki can be worn with a casual sash or even styled with a contemporary belt of scarf. We offer a simple cotton sash that can be added to your order by clicking the option above. We'll choose a color that goes with or contrasts nicely with the nemaki.
